Subcategory creation[edit]

Has anyone ever considered creating a methodology for draining gigantic alumni categories such as this one, or Harvard's, or Penn's?--MainlyTwelve (talk) 06:14, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Such categories were created for Princeton but then merged back by consensus, see Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2017_February_24#Princeton_University_alumni_by_decade.
