The Centre for the Study of Living Standards (CSLS) is a nonprofit research organization and think tank[1] based in Ottawa, Ontario. Its objectives are to create a better understanding of trends in living standards and factors determining trends through research and contribute to public debate on living standards by developing and advocating specific policies through expert consensus.[2] The CSLS is also the publisher of an economic journal entitled the International Productivity Monitor.
Governance[edit]
The CSLS Board of Directors has 11 members as of the year 2020, and is composed of prominent academic economists and persons with experience in economic policy making at the highest levels.[3] Individuals currently serving on the Board are:
