Channarong Promsrikaew (Thai: ชาญณรงค์ พรมศรีแก้ว, born 17 April 2001) is a Thai professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Chonburi and the Thailand national team.

Club career[edit]

Channarong Promsrikaew learned to play football in the youth teams of the first division clubs Muangthong United and Chonburi. In the latter he was mainly used in the B team until the end of 2018. The B team played in the fourth division, Thai League 4, in the Eastern Region. In 2018 he was used four times in the first team as a youth player. The first team played in the first division, the Thai League.

He also signed his first professional contract here in 2019. He was used three times in the first division in the 2019 season. From January 2020 to June 2020 he was loaned to third division club Banbueng, also based in Chonburi. In July 2021 he then moved on loan to the Spanish fourth division club Unión Adarve. He played 14 league games for the club from the capital Madrid and scored once. After the loan, he returned to Chonburi in June 2022.[2]

International career[edit]

In 2018, Channarong played four games for the Thailand U17 and scored five goals. The following year he scored three goals in eleven games for the Thailand U19. He has been active for his country's Thailand U23 since March 2022, He has played thirteen games here so far. He made his Thailand senior national team debut on 25 September 2022 in a friendly match against Trinidad and Tobago. In December 2022 to January 2023 he played in the Asean Football Championship and won the two finals against Vietnam with a total of 3-2.[3]
