Draft:88 Penarth–Barry

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Route 88 was a bus route between Barry and Penarth.

History[edit]

Following the closure of Easyway of Pencoed, Adventure Travel took over operation of the route in September 2022.[1][2]

After July 2023, the route was withdrawn due to the end of the Bus Emergency Subsidy fund from the Welsh Government.[3][4][5]

The route was to call at a new bus interchange at Barry Docks railway station but was withdrawn before the interchange was opened.[6]
