Draft:Amanomichine

  • Comment: Unsure about the existence of this deity or its kanji. All mentions are excepts from Amenohoakari which were introduced by @太西:. Addition of its kanji will be strongly appreciated and necessary to make any progress on this draft. If this draft goes to g13 warning without anyone adding the kanji then allow it to be deleted since no progress will be made on it, and perhaps delink the article from Amenohoakari article. Checking the Kujiki could be helpful but it is pretty hard to find.Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (talk to the cutest Wikipedian) 18:26, 23 October 2023 (UTC)

Amanomichine [ja] (天道根命) Is a Japanese deity. It is mentioned in this excerpt from Amenohoakari.

They accompanied Amateru alongside Susanoo[1].

Isekisan Shrine [ja] worships Amateru

In Shinsen Shōjiroku, the descendants of Amatsuhikone, Ame-no-hohi, and Amanomichine, together with the descendants of Amenohoakari are referred to as Tenson-zoku. The Tenson-zoku descended from Takamagahara (Plain of High Heaven) to Owari and Tanba provinces, and are considered to be the ancestors of Owari, Tsumori [ja], Amabe, and Tanba [ja] clans.[2]

However, it is clear that Amabe clan genealogy (海部氏系図, Amabe-shi Keizu), which records these four clans as descendants of Amenohoakari, is a forged document,[3] and that these clans actually descended from the sea deity Watatsumi. In addition, Owari clan's genealogy includes the great-grandson of Watatsumi, Takakuraji, as their ancestor, and this is considered to be the original genealogy.[4]
