Catherine Breed (born 22 March 1993 Pleasanton, California) is an American pool and open water swimmer. She is a five-time world open water swimming record holder and two-time United States Master Swimming record holder.[1]
Career[edit]
She swam for Amador Valley High School, and University of California, Berkeley[2][3]
At the 2011 Pan American Games, she won gold medals in Women's 200 metre freestyle, and Women's 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay.
In 2018, she swam the English Channel [4]
She swam from the Golden Gate Bridge to Half Moon Bay.[5]
She wrote the Beyond The Blackline blog.
