Christopher Samuel Acton[edit]

Christopher Samuel Acton (born 14th December, 1981) is a British businessman and the current Director and the majority shareholder of the solar energy company Greenbridge Renewables. Chris has held the position of Director within Greenbridge Renewables since 14th February 2019, where he co-founded the business, with his partner, and close friend Andy Connell. He is a continuing growing solar energy enthusiast, with his business estimated with a worth of approximately £8,500,000.

Biography[edit]

Chris was born and raised in Salford, Manchester. Chris grew up in Manchester, as an aspiring businessman within the sports industry. He worked for 4 years as an associate for Enterprise, where he then found his passion in Solar.

Joining a solar company at the age of 23 and meeting his current wife, Faye\ Acton, Chris worked his way up the chain, gaining vital information to progress within the industry. After having his young son, Joe Acton, he changed career to become a Site Manager at a local energy company within Liverpool.

Quickly understanding the ways of the trade, Acton was swift to open his business with his close friend Andy. Within the first business year, his company, Greenbridge Renewables LTD, acquired a revenue of over £1 Million, an incredible achievement for Chris. Consistently growing the business, working for town councils, schools, city boroughs, and major industrial sites across the UK, the company continued to grow.

Acton also is an advocate for charity. After his son, Joe, was sent to hospital at a young age, Chris decided to raise money for charity. Raising money for Alder Hay, a children's hospital centre in Liverpool, by completing a cycle ride of over 400KM.
