Derrick Werlé is a French composer and orchestrator based in Los Angeles, known for his work on major Hollywood films and television shows.
- Early Life and Education
Werlé is from Paris, France. He initially studied law at Université Panthéon-Assas before pursuing his passion for music. He later moved to the United States and earned a Master's degree and PhD in music composition from UCLA, where he studied under Professor Roger Bourland.[1]
- Career
After completing his studies, Werlé landed an internship with renowned composer Hans Zimmer, eventually becoming Zimmer's music assistant and orchestrator [3]. He has since worked on several high-profile projects, including:
