Fat Digester, or Fatdigester were formed in Nottingham, England in 1995. The band formed from the meeting of Paul Marshall (Fish) and Paul Needham (ned), who had left the band Weirdbeard, 2 years previously, in the Bell Inn, Nottingham, in October 1995. Paul and Ned agreed on a direction for the music and preferred line-up, that would include percussion with drums, bass and lead guitar.
