History[edit]

The film "He Behind the Gun" can be seen as a reflection of the socio-political context surrounding incidents like the assassination of Giovanni López Ramírez. Set against the backdrop of protests against police abuse, the film portrays the struggles of individuals caught in the midst of societal unrest and police brutality. Just as the events surrounding López's death sparked public outrage and protests against police violence, "He Behind the Gun" explores similar themes of injustice, activism, and the human toll of systemic oppression.
