- Comment: Resubmitted without improvement. If submitted again without relevant improvement the draft may be rejected meaning it will no longer be considered. S0091 (talk) 18:44, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: None of the sources even mention the term "Hybrid Football," and at best tangentially touch on some points mentioned in this draft. The CDC source seems to consist of "exercise is good for you," which doesn't help to establish notability for this topic. LittlePuppers (talk) 18:32, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
Hybrid Football Definition[edit]
A Fusion of Football, Sports and Technology[edit]
Hybrid football is a new category of football-based sports that represents the growing movement of micro-sided football [1] fusion games (related to small-sided football) that are emerging globally.
The definition of hybrid football is football crossed with other sports, activities and technologies to create a new hybrid format. For a sport to be classified as hybrid football, it must combine the fundamental skills of association football with elements from various sports, challenges, and technologies to create new hybrid formats.
Benefits of playing Hybrid Football[edit]
Designed for individuals of all playing abilities, hybrid football offers a versatile and inclusive playing experience. Whether engaging in micro-sided games such as 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 matches, or even playing individually in specific cases, hybrid football provides a refreshing twist to the sport. By playing indoors and with fewer participants, the need for extensive prior organization is minimized, allowing football enthusiasts to play football more frequently. There are also a range of physical health benefits due to the exercise involved with playing sport.[2]
Types of Hybrid Football[edit]
Playing hybrid football is becoming more common around the world due to the growth of the category driven by some of the bigger hybrid football sports and their official tournaments.[3]
