The Jameel Foundation was set up on 22 April 2013 by the Former Member of the parliament of the Republic of Maldives, MP Jameel Usman , to fulfill his desire to utilize his resources, contacts and experience in improving the livelihoods of the Maldivian people, especially the youth development program of his own constituency, Gemanafushi constituency, Maldives^[1] ^[2] ^[3]
