Jonas Nyabor is an award-winning Ghanaian journalist and fact-checker at Dubawa Ghana.[1]

Career[edit]

In 2012, Jonas Nyabor joined Radio Universe, a student-based radio station of the University of Ghana, as a student journalist, and later became its editor in 2016.

He joined Citi FM/TV as a broadcast journalist but currently works with Dubawa Ghana as a fact-checker and trainer.[1]

Education[edit]

He studied Psychology and Geography his 1st degree at the University of Ghana.[1]

Awards/Nominations[edit]

He won the Professional Fact-Checker Award at the 2022 Africa Fact-Checking Awards held in Nigeria.[2]

In 2020, he was awarded the 1st runner-up in the "Best Fact-Checker" category in a Dubawa Fellowship fact-checking awards.[1]
