Draft:Kalenjin incompetence

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kalenjin incompetence refers to a phenomenon observed in Kenyan socio-politics whereby any time a leader from the supposed ethnicity takes the helms of power, there is a general decline in public service and development. One example of this was the leadership of Kenya's second president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, when the country experienced the worst public service and developmental declines. The only other leader from the ethnic group is the current president whose leadership has been noted for its ineffectiveness in managing the country's affairs. Among the biggest concerns include appointing people to positions of power based on Kalenjin ethnicity even when they are unqualified, a pitifully declining currency, overtaxation, and general economic mismanagement.
