Market Basket is a local grocery store with two locations in northeastern New Jersey. The store specializes in quality grocery products and prepared food meals.

History[edit]

Market Basket was founded^[1] in 1960 by Anthony "Tony" Chernalis. The original location was located in Wyckoff, New Jersey and is still in operation today. Later, a store location was opened in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey that is now the flagship store location.
