Miles Stevens is an American personal trainer, sports nutritionist, and health and wellness consultant. He runs his own consulting business, Live Lagom LLC.[1] where he works with individuals and businesses and is based out of Brooklyn, NY[2]

Early Life and Education[edit]

Stevens was born in New York City, New York[3]. He Attended Ashland University[4] until his sophomore year, after which he transferred to Ave Maria University[5] to complete his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. Stevens went on to complete his Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the University of Tampa[6]. Stevens is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Career (2018 - Present)[edit]

In 2018, Stevens began his professional career as a strength and conditioning coach for the New York Yankees[7]. Stevens worked directly with players in Rookie Ball[8], the Dominican Summer League[9], and those on injury reserve in Tampa Florida[10]. Throughout his time with the Yankees he coached and programed for over 100 players and utilized force plate[11] and Catapult[12] data to assess athlete progress and performance.

Prior to joining the Yankees[7] Stevens had a quick stint with the Toronto Blue Jays[13] where he acted as an assistant Nutritionist to Stephanie Wilson, former Head of Nutrition. With the Blue Jays Stevens performed anthropometric measurements on over 350 athletes and created individualized Microsoft Excel reports based off assessments to determine strategic approaches for each athlete.

In 2019, Stevens was recruited by Joshua Bonhotal to join the team at Future, an early stage tech startup founded by Rishi Mandal and Justin Santamaria that allows people to work with elite personal trainers from their phone through a proprietary training software. During his stint at Future, Stevens communicated and individually programmed for over 80 clients weekly. Stevens also created and led the company's first nutrition department, a team of 8 nutritionists who created client facing resources to aid in comprehension and adoption of nutrition principals.

In 2021, Stevens was promoted to a management role where he oversaw a team of 8-15 coaches and was tasked with managing a $1 million profit and loss portfolio. Utilizing SQL[14] datasets to assess key performance indicators Stevens led his team to an 8% enhancement in customer retention and a 10% increase in customer conversion during Q4, 2022.

In 2023, Stevens took a job working with Session, a group fitness gym based out of Williamsburg[15] and Greenpoint Brooklyn[16] where he teaches weekly group fitness classes and hosts personal training clients.

Stevens is the owner and founder of a personal consulting firm, Live Lagom LLC, where he works directly with individuals and companies on health and wellness based initiatives. His firm was launched November 2023.[1]

Welltech (2023 - Present)[edit]

Stevens works as an advisor and content expert for Welltech[17]. In this role Stevens assists with the development and rebranding of two of their apps, MuscleBooster and WalkFit.

Personal Life[edit]

After a decade of traveling across the United States[18] and living in Ohio[19], Florida[20], and California, in 2020 Stevens relocated to Brooklyn, NY[2]. Stevens is an avid endurance triathlete, rock climber, and surfer.
