Victoria, Australia has an extensive multi-modal public transportation network. It contains trains, buses, trams and ferries. It is provided by Public Transport Victoria (PTV), A division of the Department of Transport and Planning.[1]

Rail[edit]

Commuter Rail (Melbourne)[edit]

Melbourne has a wide-spread suburban rail network run by Metro Trains Melbourne. It has 998km of track and had 99 million passengers in the 2021/2022 Financial Year.[2][3]

Commuter Rail (Regional)[edit]

Victoria has a large railway network with 14 train routes and over 1950 services every week.
