Rauf Kingsley was born in Baku, Azerbaijan in February 1997.

Career[edit]

He started his music career in 2016 during his commercial work in New York City. He released many singles and covers at the beginning of his career. In 2022, he collaborated with Azerbaijani rap artist Paster and released the hit song 6 AM.[4][5][6] Following its commercial success, the track broke numerous streaming records on music platforms in Azerbaijan, becoming a huge success for both artists.[7] The track reached millions of streams on all music platforms.[8] Rare Pop artist has a captivating voice and is known in Azerbaijan for his uniqueness, style, vision and attitude. He is currently working on his debut album, which is scheduled for release in early 2024. The artist's debut album features iconic Kamancha master Mark Eliyahu, Turkish hip-hop artist EFO and other talented artists.[9] Rauf loves collaborating with artists from different genres and blending them seamlessly.[10] The first single of the album, "Yolumuz Aya", featuring EFO, was released on December 15.[11] Rauf performed in the opening act of the Aygun Kazimova concert at Hayal Kahvesi Baku on December 27, 2023.
