RentRedi is property management software that enables landlords to manage their rental or investment properties from anywhere.[citation needed] Designed with cloud-based software, RentRedi is accessible from your phone or computer. Notable features of RentRedi include online rent collection, tenant screening, lease signing, team and tenant communication, listings and marketing, and maintenance management[1].
Recently, RentRedi's software has received awards such as Best Tenant Rent Collection Software App for Landlords (Awarded by Real Estate Bees)[2] and Tenant Portal Solution of the Year from PropTech Breakthrough[3]
The Creation of RentRedi[edit]
RentRedi was started by CEO Ryan Barone in 2016 when he began trying to rent an apartment in New York City.[citation needed] When applying to available rentals, he struggled to collect the required documents on time and lost out on a great apartment.[citation needed] To combat this issue, Barone began developing an app that would enable other renters like himself to upload documents and store them for easy access.[citation needed]
After Barone created the original RentRedi app, he began speaking to landlords, investors, and tenants about the kinds of issues they were facing in the renting process. Quickly, he realized many of their problems could be solved with tech. Consequently, he began developing an app that functioned for both landlords and renters.
Since then, RentRedi has become a property management software for both landlords and renters to use to manage their renting experience[4]
In 2022, RentRedi raised their Series A, sourcing a total of $12 million in the round[5]
Features of RentRedi[edit]
RentRedi's property management software offers an array of features, including
- Online and mobile rent collection
- Tenant web and mobile payments

Renters can also use their RentRedi web and mobile apps to apply for rentals and pay rent[7]
