Samuel Aghalino is a Professor of Economic History at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is the President of the Historical Society of Nigeria.[1][2][3] He has interest in Economic and Social History, with spealty on the oil armada and socio-economic change in the Niger Delta, Nigeria.

Samuel attended Notre Dame College , Ozoro 1978-83; Bendel State University (now Edo State University) Ekpoma, University of Ilorin, 1992-94; 1995-01;
