Yorba is a cloud-based platform launched in 2022 that helps users manage their digital footprint. The company, registered as a Public-benefit corporation, is headquartered in Lisbon and New York. It was founded by Chris Zeunstrom, Nolan Cabaje, and David Schmudde[1] [2].

In February 2024, Yorba was named “Mint for uncluttering your entire digital life” by TechCrunch[3]. As of April 2024, Yorba had 2.5K active users and has processed 110M emails through natural-language processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence models. In May 2024, Yorba launched Delete Desk, a free database on how to delete accounts online containing 10.5K records[4].

Features[edit]

Yorba allows users to connect their email addresses and payment methods to see a list of associated online accounts, subscriptions, and data breaches. The platform provides details on these accounts and assigns "Privacy Grades" indicating how vendors handle user data. Users can also receive weekly reports and track account activity .

For data security, Yorba follows Mozilla lean data practices and stores encrypted user data on Google Cloud. To connect users to their bank accounts, Yorba integrates with Plaid Inc. The platform uses Have I Been Pwned? deep database of active breaches. One of Yorba’s primary sources to enhance the data is Wikidata [5].

Collaborations[edit]
