@Flalf: Can you clarify why it is that you believe the article "definitely" meets WP:Notability? So far, the draft lacks evidence of significant coverage in multiple, reliable, independent sources. @Flalf: Good day and thank you for your question. If you look at the WP:GNG guidelines, it states "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." The article provided only single as oppose to significant coverage (multiple sources) - see Tarleton football schedule which is not independent from the subject (it is the subject's web site). Article can be moved to draft space under WP:NPPDRAFT guidelines. To move to draft is not a deletion (the article will remain in draft space for 6 months before it is nominated for deletion), but giving the creator time and space to gather more appropriate sources for submission. @CASSIOPEIA: I do think there are definitely those sources out there- so wouldn’t have been a better idea to put or ? I don’t know if that warrants declining the article fully. @Cbl62: as it is a major athletics organization associated with a major educational organization I find that it would meet WP:Notability. @Flalf:, It is move to draft not a reject. I performed the edit based on WP:GNG and WP:NPPDRAFT guidelines. As you agreed and understand, independent, reliable sources are to used, all you need to do is to add them in. Best. CASSIOPEIA^(talk)
