I noticed that the creator of this page is being overly literal with the advice to "look for 2-3 sources" and that an article needs "usually at least 3 reliable sources". I want to make sure you saw my response on my talk page. I also want to say that it is not Wikipedia's rule that if there are exactly three newspaper articles of any kind, a subject is definitely entitled to a Wikipedia article. There is intentionally no rule for how many sources count as "multiple sources" in the WP:GNG because it's a qualitative, contextual judgment call.
Finding some sources is meant to equip editors with information about why the subject is notable. Specifically, which criteria does this person meet? There is definitely not enough evidence here to show that they meet WP:CREATIVE for their writing or their music. Activists don't have a specific notability guideline, but in my experience they typically gain articles after being associated with at least one (and ideally more than one) movement/organization/award with national coverage. For some unambiguously notable activists, see Greta Thunberg or Ari Ne'eman.
Another way to think about sources is that they are necessary for the article to have meaningful content. I edited the draft to put all the currently-supported information into "wikivoice". I think we can agree that what remains is not a very interesting or notable article. That's why the three sources are still coming across as insufficient: the information inside them does not seem to add up to much of an article. You may find WP:BACKWARD a useful essay.
