Edson Sabajo is a Dutch DJ, entrepreneur and cultural icon,[1] living in Amsterdam.[2][3]
Early life and Professional career[edit]
Edson Samuel Sabajo was raised in the Staatsliedenbuurt (an area in the West side of Amsterdam). He was a football player for several local teams, including ZPC and DCG.[4]
Sneakers and hip-hop culture are two interests that Edson Sabajo adored.[5] He leaves an eternal mark on Amsterdam's cultural scene.[6][7]
The 2010-founded running team led by Edson Sabajo is honored in the Patta Running Team.[8]
In 2004, Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt founded Patta.[9][10]
Sabajo is known for 40 Years of Dutch Hip-Hop (2023)[11] and The Story of Air Max: 90 to 2090 (2020).[12]
In 2024, Edson Sabajo[13][14] joined forces with The Panics Film and irrie to put out the film on the beginnings of the genre in the Netherlands.[15][16]
