Elijah Ziyambe (born 20 December 2000) is a Zimbabwean Australian Association footballer who plays as a centre-back/left-back who currently plays for Sydenham Park.[2][3]

Career[edit]

Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Ziyambe moved with his family to Australia at six years old.

Ziyambe commenced his football journey at South Melbourne FC as a junior, subsequently advancing to Hume City U20 team. There, under the leadership of Nick Hegarty, he successfully transitioned to the Firsts, earning recognition through the prestigious Coach's Award. Following a commendable season with Hume City FC, Ziyambe strategically redirected his career to Werribee City FC in the NPL2.[4] His trajectory led him to Sydenham Park, where he contributed to a formidable team poised for promotion, narrowly missing the anticipated ascent.
