The image serves as the primary means of visual identification of the character in the medium of the TV series. It facilitates critical commentary by providing an immediate relevance to the reader more capably than textual description alone. The promotional shot does not limit the copyright owner's right to distribute the television drama in any way. It is being used for informational purposes only, and it is not considered to detract from the television show in any way. |

A free image of the actress would not be true to the original character. It would not feature the character's typical hairstyle, which differs from the actor's own. Their manner of dress, which is different from the actor's own, reflects their characterisation. It would also not feature the identifiable EastEnders setting. |
