Demographics[edit]

Ethnicity[edit]

The Galle Polling Division has a Sinhalese majority (66.8%) and a significant Moor population (32.1%) . In comparison, the Galle Electoral District (which contains the Galle Polling Division) has a Sinhalese majority (94.4%) [1]
