Gayan Koralage is a telecommunications and towerco executive based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Koralage is a Member at Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA) UK.

Koralage joined Telekom Malaysia International in 2005 where he served as the Assistant Vice President of Group Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Special Projects.[1] His credentials span financing, funding, and investment initiatives across the TMI footprint, business turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions for Axiata Group, as well as post-merger integration initiatives.

He joined EDOTCO Group in 2013.[2][3][4] As a founding member, he played a pivotal role in initiating and nurturing the establishment of EDOTCO since 2013. Koralage lead the team responsible for negotiating crucial master lease agreements with 40+ mobile operators across eight Asian markets and various mergers acquisitions in the edotco group.. Additionally, he orchestrated the successful sale of a 32% stake in EDOTCO to Japanese and Malaysian sovereign wealth funds in early 2017.

He currently serves as the Director, Group Strategy at EDTCO.[5][6] involved in serving eight Asian markets, contributing to the company's global ranking as the sixth-largest telecom Tower Company in terms of tower count.

In July 2021, he was appointed as the managing director for EDOTCO Sri Lanka.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13]

In November 2023, EDOTCO Group appointed Koralage as the Group's Director Business of EDOTCO Malaysia.[14][15][16][17][18][19]

Koralage is a speaker and writer in the mobile sector covering key topics of 5G, mobile network disruption and evolution, digital economy, nextgen towerco opportunities, value creation in digital infrastructure space, digital transformation and inter-generation opportunities in the next decade.[20]
