Grand CityMall Guiwan is a shopping mall located at MCLL Highway, Guiwan, Zamboanga City. It is the second CityMall in the city after the success of CityMall Tetuan which opened last September 30, 2015.[1]
It will be the biggest CityMall in the country once opened in 2024.[2]
History[edit]
After the successful establishment of CityMall Tetuan, DoubleDragon Properties bought a 1.5 hectar prime lot in Guiwan to build up a commercial mall to cater the east coast of the city.[1]
Like CityMall Tetuan, the mall is also 30% owned by GZI of the Zamboanga-based Lim family which currently owns Southway Square Mall and Shop-O-Rama Department Store in Zamboanga.[2]
