Hangaloor is a village in the Kundapur taluk of Udupi district. As of 2011, Hangaloor has a total population of 4547 people consisting of 2403 male and 469 female residents. The village occupies a total area of 342.74 hecatres with a population density of 13.267 people per hectare. As of 2011, the total literacy rate was 79.02% which was higher than the national average of 59.5%.[1]
