Igor Vladimirovich Shinkarenko (Russian: Игорь Владимирович Шинкаренко; born 18 June 1956) is a Russian professional football coach and former player.

Igor Vladimirovich began his coaching career in 1974. The teams he coached won many times in republican competitions (Komi ASSR), and in 1975, 1978 were winners of the zonal Russian competitions in the tournament "Leather Ball".                                                                                         

Since 1980 he was a coach of the soccer team UII (Ukhta Industrial Institute), which in 1985 entered the first league of student soccer in Russia, where took 5th place out of 8 teams. In the tournament played the best student teams, based on the qualifying Championship of Russia in 1984.                                 

 In 1984, Igor graduated with honors from the P.F. Lesgaft State Department of Physical Education and Sports (Leningrad).                                                             

From 1986 to 1991 he was the senior coach of the soccer team "University" Saransk, which played in the Championship of the Republic of Mordovia, the Championship of Russia among KFK, and in the Student Championship of Russia. During this period the team repeatedly became the Champion of the Republic, the 2nd prize-winner in the zonal competitions of KFK, and in 1988 became the champions of Russia among students. At the same time in 1988 Shinkarenko I.V. was the senior coach of the soccer team "Svetotekhnika" Saransk, which through the KFK, returned to the second league of professional soccer. In 1991 Shinkarenko I.V. also brought to the second league of professional soccer soccer team "University Saransk".                                 

 In 1992 he was the head coach of the professional soccer team "FC MGU Saransk" (2 league).                                           

In 1993 Igor graduated from the Higher School of Coaches. In the same year he was the head coach of the soccer team "Saranskeksport" (2 league): 4th place out of 21 teams. 

In 1994 Shinkarenko I. V. wrote a book "Football. Training of special performance of soccer players", reviewed by: Honored Coach of the USSR K.I.Beskov, E.M.Kucherevsky, and Honored Coach of Russia Y.P.Syomin.         

Since 1995 - head coach of the soccer club "Biokhimik-Mordovia", which in the same year left the KFK in the 3rd league of professional soccer, and in 1997 won a place in the 2nd league.  Working in FC "Biokhimik-Mordovia" from 1995 to 2005, first as a head coach, and since 2001 as a general director. Simultaneously since 2000 coached children born in 1992-1993, with whom twice in 2004 and 2005 became the winner of the Children's Football League of Russia, for which he received the title "Honored Coach of the DFL RF".                                                           

In 2006 he was the senior coach of the soccer team of the Higher League of Russia "Amkar" Perm. In 2007 he was the senior coach of the Russian Premier League soccer team "Krylya Sovetov" Samara. In 2009 he was the head coach of FC "Mordovia-2" (FC "Mordovia" double), and was appointed head coach of the Volga region youth team born in 1993.                                             

From 2010 to 2014 he was the head coach of the Interregional Training Center for Young Footballers of the Volga Region - Mordovia. During this period, in 2012 and 2014, the U-19 teams, led by him, became winners of the Russian U-19 Championship.                                                                                       

In 2014-2015. - Head coach of the youth soccer team "Mordovia" - 5th place in the Russian Penrvenstvo among youth teams - soccer clubs of the Premier League.                 

2016 - head coach of professional soccer team "KAMAZ" (Naberezhnye Chelny) - 2nd league of the Russian Championship.     

Since 2017 Shinkarenko Igor Vladimirovich works in "FSM "Moscow, first as a head coach of the team born in 2001, then as a senior coach of KFK, today as a head coach of the school.

He is also the father of Aleksandr Shinkarenko.
