Jacqueline Rabun (born 1961) is an American jewelry designer.[1][2]

Early life and education[edit]

Rabun was born in Bitburg, Germany.[3][4] Bevor her family settled in Northern California and made a lot of travel experiences.[5] She is self-taught.[4][6][7]

Career[edit]

Having studied fashion design in Los Angeles, she began designing jewelry in Los Angeles in 1988.[8][5]

In 1989, she moved to London and launched her first collection of jewelry[4][9] in 1990,[8] having opened her studio.[5] The collection was picked up by Barneys New York.[4] Her work was featured on the cover of British Vogue in 1992,[9] worn by Linda Evangelista.[10] Rabun's style has been noted for being minimalist and gender neutral.[11]

In 1999, she began a long-term collaboration with the Scandinavian luxury brand George Jensen.[5]

She has created designs for Georg Jensen as well as other brands like Halston.[12][9][7][13][6]

In 2002 she launched her first collection, Offspring,[14] and one year later her Cave collection.[5]

Today, Rabun is based in London,[8] where she works as jewelry designer and silver craftsman.[14]
