Kyle Morlock is an American football tight end for the Florida State Seminoles. He previously played for the Shorter Hawks.

Early life and high school[edit]

Morlock and grew up in Blairsville, Georgia and attended Union County High School.[1] As a junior, he caught 47 passes for 757 yards and eight touchdowns.[2]

College career[edit]

Morlock played in three games during his true freshman season. He was named second-team All-Gulf South Conference (GSC) after finishing the season with 21 receptions for 362 yards and five touchdowns.[3] In 2022, Shorter caught 30 passes for 446 yards and six touchdowns and was named first-team All-GSC.[4] Following the end of the season he entered the NCAA transfer portal.[5]

Morlock ultimately transferred to Florida State.[6][7] He enrolled in January 2023 to participate in the Seminoles' spring practices.[8]
