Kyra Kupetsky (born September 7, 1993) is an American animator, cartoonist, and voice actress. She is the most known for creating the TikTok and later YouTube short series Chikn Nuggit, which is co-produced with Frederator Studios and BuzzFeed and she voices the said dog character.

Life and career[edit]

She was born in Burbank, California and attended high school before being unemployed for a while.[1]

In 2017, when she began working for the BuzzFeed Animation Lab and created series such as The Good Advice Cupcake and Late Bloomicorn.[1] In 2020, she created the series Chikn Nuggit as shorts. There are 300 videos and 1 billion views in this series.[2]

In 2023, a television series was announced, also being co-produced by Frederator Studios, Genius Brands, BuzzFeed based on the social media series with BuzzFeed Animation Lab, their subsidiary.[3][4]

Artistry[edit]

She creates animation that is "cute and heartwarming" inspired by drawings she created in her childhood, and in her time between university and work.[5]
