LeeMujin Service (Korean리무진 서비스; RRRimujin seobiseu) is a South Korean talk show and live music web television program hosted by South Korean singer-songwriter Lee Mu-jin. The program airs every Tuesday at 6 pm KST on YouTube channel, KBS Kpop and a re-run airs on KBS2 every Tuesday at 11 pm KST.[1][2] It features live music performances without an audience. The name of the show is a play on the Korean pronunciation of the phrase "limousine service", which sounds identical to the name of the host, Lee Mu-jin.

Format[edit]

The current format involves the guest opening the show with the most recent song released by the guest's group (or their own song if the guest is a solo artist). Then, the show proceeds with the guest singing two songs (called "live services") and then a duet with Lee, which are picked beforehand.[3] Through the show, the only accompaniment comes from a keyboardist whose hands are the only visible body part. Aside from the 2 "live services" and the duet, Lee also asks questions about the guest's music career and during the interview he asks the guest to sing fragments of other songs (like their audition song, a song from a different genre, a song from a senior singer they admire, etc.)

Development[edit]

This show marks Lee Mu-jin's debut as an MC.[4]

Band[edit]

  • Jung Dae-hoon (born 2001) – Piano
  • Kim Hae-seung – Piano
