Life's Quest is the fifth solo studio album by American rapper 8Ball. It was released on July 24, 2012, through E1 Music.[1] It features guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Angie Stone, Big K.R.I.T., Ebony Love, Keelyn Ellis, LC, MJG, Singa and Slim.

The album debuted at number 116 on the Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 3,800 copies in the United States.[2]

Life's Quest was met with generally favorable reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, the album received an average score of 75, based on five reviews.[3]

Pete T. of RapReviews stated: "a mature performance over sleek, fresh production makes Life's Quest a pleasure".[5] Neil Martinez-Belkin of XXL called it "an LP that accurately reflects 8Ball's place as one of the finest elder statesmen of southern rap".[6] AllMusic's David Jeffries wrote: "if 8Ball always seemed more moonshine than fine wine, Life's Quest suggests he can still get better with age and go down smooth when you let him mellow".[4]
