Small change[edit]

{{Editprotected}} Could someone replace {{PAGENAME}} with {{FULLPAGENAME}}, since this seems to be the meaning of that box shown on Special:ExpandTemplates, as can be seen in this test. Helder 17:02, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it was actually incorrect, but I have made the change as requsted. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 18:41, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Both are correct. Based on your example it seems you expected {{PAGENAME}} to return A or B. {{BASEPAGENAME}} and {{SUBPAGENAME}} do that. [1]Reach Out to the Truth 22:07, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not really. I just got a little bit cofused when I first used that page with something like this. Since it is a special page, the namespace is "Special". Nonetheless, the result of {{NAMESPACE}} in that page was an empty string (which is correct if the full page name is "Contributions"). So I though changing the message as above would make it clearer for future users.
Thanks for changing. Helder 22:27, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Obsolete[edit]

This message is not necessary anymore, since the default value was changed to the one used here on enwiki. Helder 12:56, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
