 Not done The MediaWiki software has detected a very severe pattern of abusive activity isn't necessarily true as this message (from my readthrough of the relevant code) is more likely to show up due to a technical issue like a Toolforge bot editing logged out than specific abusive behavior. Regardless of why it is happening, there's nothing admins can do about system blocks so including the standard blockedtext spew isn't helpful. * Pppery * it has begun... 05:10, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pppery I concur. However, I do think the message should be standardized. We can indicate what is most likely to cause the issue though in the block message. I think the only thing that can happen is that the issue probably be referred to Phabricator if there is a bug causing a block to show up as a "system block".
