Improve wording January 2020[edit]

Currently says Display title. Roughly a week after the improvement to the accompanying (i)-popup, improper VE displaytitle modifications are still a daily occurrence. @Xaosflux: could this be changed to Title markup or something similar? --bdijkstra (talk) 14:58, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bdijkstra: how about "Title style" or "Title styling"? This being a core default message I don't want to stray to far from the versions that would be translated in to all other languages. "Markup" can be a bit jargon-y. — xaosflux ^Talk 15:01, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The core default message predates $wgRestrictDisplayTitle. That said, perhaps it should be changed as well, but I expect that would be a longer process. "Style" and "styling" are fine with me, though I prefer the latter. --bdijkstra (talk) 15:11, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
