Two TransLink templates?[edit]

@Frietjes and Joeyconnick: do we need to have both this module and Module:Adjacent stations/TransLink (BC) SkyTrain? The only difference is the style for displaying the station name in the infobox (white on blue or blue on white). Also, based on photos, the styles seem like they're being used backwards. See Burrard station (SkyTrain) and Port Coquitlam (regular). BLAIXX 17:02, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure they could be combined... I'm assuming the difference between the styling is that Port Coquitlam station is a West Coast Express station, whereas Burrard is "just" SkyTrain. Only the "just SkyTrain" stations are using Module:Adjacent stations/TransLink (BC) SkyTrain it appears (i.e. Waterfront station (Vancouver) is not because it's multimodal, and the other SkyTrain stations, like Moody Centre station, that are also served by the West Coast Express use the "base" style). I'm not sure we need a separate style for regional commuter rail vs. the SkyTrain proper but (and I'm no module expert) it does seems weird that there's an entirely separate module just to apply a different style to particular types of stations in the same overall system. —Joeyconnick (talk) 17:14, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is possible to have multiple styles with one module (e.g. SEPTA), selected with "style2" in infobox station. Maybe I'll do that (or maybe I'll just merge the styles). BLAIXX 21:47, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
thanks for adding the substyle, I have asked to have the other module deleted. Frietjes (talk) 17:09, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
