Nicole Jackson (birder)

Nicole Jackson is an American birder and environmental educator. She co-organized the first Black Birders Week in 2020.[1][2][3]

Life[edit]

She is from Cleveland, Ohio[2][4] and spent time in foster care when she was young.[2][3] She graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental education at Ohio State University[4][5][6] in 2011.[4][6]

She on the board of the Audubon of Columbus, Ohio[2][4][5][7] where she works as an educator with urban youth.[2] She created Black in National Parks Week.[4][6]
