wikiportal in spanish

i'm starting a wikiportal in spanish of Puerto Rico. Anybody with more experience and knowledge please lend a hand! Especially with formats and guidelines. Thank you! My username is Mlugo in wikipedia español.

Well for one the colors make the text unreadable. Also an external links section is undesirable. Joelito (talk) 16:34, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Update?

Does anyone update this? or is anyone in charge of it? Charleenmerced Talk 17:24, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Charleenmerced

I was the person who updated this portal but my time in Wikipedia has been very limited. Joelito (talk) 01:09, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Why Isn't This Portal a Featured Portal?

Hello. Why is Cuba's Portal a Featured portal and ours is not? I think ours is much better. Eddie 23:21, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Working on it! ;-) - Mtmelendez (Talk|UB|Home) 03:41, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Status Quo bias

The initial political description of Puerto Rico is somewhat biased. While Puerto Rico, just as Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and the Northern Marianas Islands, is called a "commonwealth", most legal institutions do not recognize Puerto Rico as having a political status called "commonwealth status". These institutions include the US Supreme Court, the US Justice and State departments underr the Bush, Clinton and Bush II administrations, the US Congress and the UN Decolonization Committee. The initial descriptin should be cleaned up to eliminate such bias.Pr4ever 09:24, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Actually, the intro is an almost exact copy of the intro of the Puerto Rico article. Corrections should be made there first, then here. - Mtmelendez (Talk|UB|Home) 23:29, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
I checked it out and both intro's are now compatible, the portal intro basically summarizing the more extensive Puerto Rico article intro. Thanks. Pr4ever 15:57, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Puerto Rico Article Quality

I'm from the WikiProject for US Territories and was thinking about classifying the article Puerto Rico as B quality and was curious about your input on why it might or might not still be C quality. Alex the Nerd (talk) 03:35, 12 November 2019 (UTC)

I have no objection, go for it! If there's any objection, you will hear about it I am sure. Mercy11 (talk) 03:15, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
