Reception [ edit ] AllMusic reviewer Ron Wynn stated: "A tremendous 1985 quintet session with trombonist Slide Hampton heading a distinguished group and nicely teaming with tenor saxophonist Clifford Jordan in a first-rate hard bop front line."[3]
