Ryutaro Tsuchida (槌田·龍太郎) was a Japanese chemist,[1] who was born in 1903 in Kyoto.[2]

In 1939, Ryutaro Tsuchida originally proposed the correlation between molecular geometry and number of valence electron pairs (both shared and unshared pairs).[3]

Ryutaro Tsuchida graduated from Tokyo University in (昭和3年,Shōwa era 3rd)1928.[2]

Career[edit]

In June 1935, Ryutaro Tsuchida established a fifth course at Osaka University.[4]
