Saland (Persian: سالند and Luri language Sâland), formerly Sardasht (سر دشت);[3] also Romanized as Sar Dasht and Sar-ī-Dasht,[4] is a city in, and the capital of, Sardasht District of Dezful County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[5] It also serves as the administrative center for Sardasht Rural District.[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,841 in 394 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 2,085 people in 514 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,560 people in 697 households.[2]
