Sergio Valdeolmillos Moreno (born 4 April 1967) is a Spanish basketball coach who is the current coach of Petro de Luanda of the Angolan Basketball League and the Basketball Africa League (BAL).

National team career[edit]

Valdeolmillos coached the Mexico national team at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.[1] Valdeolmillos also led Mexico to the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship and the 2014 Centrobasket Championship.

Club career[edit]

Valdeolmillos was named the LNBP Coach of the Year in 2022 while coaching for Astros de Jalisco.[2] He won the 2022 CIBACOPA championship with Astros.[3]

On 28 March 2024, he signed as head coach of Angolan club Petro de Luanda of the Angolan Basketball League and the Basketball Africa League (BAL).[4] He signed a one-year contract with the option to extend for one more season.[4]
