Sorkheh County (Persian: شهرستان سرخه) is in Semnan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sorkheh.[3]
After the 2011 National Census, Sorkheh District was separated from Semnan County in the establishment of Sorkheh County, which had one district of two rural districts, with Sorkheh as its capital and only city.[3]
At the 2016 census, the population was 15,523 in 5,330 households.[2]
Administrative divisions[edit]
The structure of Sorkheh County's administrative divisions is shown in the following table. The latest census shows one district, two rural districts, and four cities.[2]
After the 2016 census, Hafdar Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Hafdar District, which was divided into two rural districts.[3]
