Reason for X rating in the US?[edit]

It would be interesting if there could be more details on why the film was rated X in the United States? Any scenes in particular that caused censors to set this rating? Has US ratings been influenced by political content? This film was marked by its time (just after 1968) and presented very much a left-wing view of the events. Tomas e (talk) 14:40, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
