Non-global scope and probable need for merger[edit]

This article is written from a purely Turkish perspective. Most minarets beyond Turkey have balconies exactly like this as well. This is the English Wikipedia and Wikipedia is a global encyclopedia (see WP:WORLDVIEW), and therefore the article should be modified to reflect minarets worldwide, not only in Turkey. The Turkish name of the article likewise reflects only terminology in Turkey, rather than globally for Islamic architecture.

There is actually no reason why this topic cannot be easily covered at the minaret article. All significant information here is already covered directly or indirectly there, and the scope of this topic is fully within the scope of that article. I don't have time to make a merger proposal at the moment but this seems like the more appropriate course of action in the future. R Prazeres (talk) 06:48, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
