Who is the .NZ Registry[edit]

Is the "Registry" for .nz really the Domain Name Commissioner? She's the commissioner, but surely the registry is actually NZ Registry Services .Karora 11:02, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Given the distinct lack of response to that comment over (heh, exactly :-) a year... I have now corrected it, added a history section and stuff. There's a wee bit more still to do to tidy things a little. Some of you no doubt know of my relationship to the .nz infrastructure etc. (which is why I only put my earlier comment on the talk page here), it would be nice if you could indicate here that you believe I have done these changes in a neutral fashion and with good references to back it up - or bitch at me about it, of course! It all looks good to me - both correct and neutral. Thanks. JayDaley (talk) 09:18, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2nd level registrations possible since October 2013[edit]

As per this discussion:

http://dnc.org.nz/second_level_proposal_c3

And the fact that some of the registrars do let you register a .nz at 2nd level (foo.nz), we should change the information about the domain being only available at third level (foo.org.nz).

I would suggest a small paragraph mentioning the proposal mentioned above making it clear that the decision was recent (also it was already 1 year ago). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexis Wilke (talkcontribs) 21:17, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
